Proverbs 4:23-27

Well, I find this verses a general guideline to what we should do these days.

ESPECIALLY since He's coming back.

23; Above all else, guard your heart,

for it is the wellspring of life.

24; Put away perversity from your mouth;

keep corrupt talk far from your lips.

25; Let your eyes look straight ahead,

fix your gaze directly before you.

26; Make level paths for your feet

and take only ways that are firm.

27; Do not swerve to the right or the left;

keep your foot from evil.

=) I wonder how long they took to complete the CGI effects mann. and, do you know, the supermarket scene and some buildings in the movie were done by a MALAYSIAN GUY, 

Ng Chun Seong.

this guy, though we have not heard much bout him, has actually been working in Hollywood,

and was behind some of the CGI effects for movies like Wanted, X-Men Origins, The Incredible Hulk, Alien Vs. Predator : Requiem and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.

and well, 2012 has done us favour cause now,

it has gottten people to sit up and think.

as it's true, we're in the last days.

and for us, we believe that,

NO, it's not that the super big scale bencana alams will kill us, but instead, 

we will be going up to heaven. In the rapture.

And, I think I'm not afraid of the world coming to an end, cause of this truth;

WE BELIEVED, AND WE'RE GOING TO HEAVEN.

people who aren't christians would always wonder,

why are this bunch of people so interested in converting us to their faith? 

why are they so bent on making everyone believe in their God?

the answer?

Each and every christian does all these things for this sole purpose.

WE WANT TO SEE YOU IN HEAVEN TOO. 

imagine, going up there, but not seeing you father's face, your mom's face, or your best friend's face.

In my humble opinion and just for thinking,

reasons why you should give God a chance. 

1. Every religion promotes doing good right? And by doing good you can go to heaven right?

2. But instead, we believe, that to go to heaven you need to believe in this person called Jesus.

not just by doing good works.

3. Since every religion promotes doing good works and the teachings of christianity teach you to be good, why not try it? you only need to believe AND, a life in heaven is guranteed.

But, here's the major difference, Christians believe that believing in God, IS THE ONLY WAY YOU'LL GET TO HEAVEN.

Q: What is Jocelyn getting at here?

4. A= If you die, and you finally reach the gate of heaven. If God is real, and you happened to believe and was a christian, YOU GO TO HEAVEN. yay. 

But if God didn't exist, YOU STILL GO TO HEAVEN.

why? according to other religion's teachings, as long as you do good, you'll go to heaven, be reincarnated and what not. Besides, with christianity teaching you to do good, you would have been doing good during your life on Earth.

Now, what if God's real and you didn't believe in Him for your entire life?

you WON'T GO TO HEAVEN. why? 

Referring to no.3, Christians believe that believing in God, IS THE ONLY WAY TO HEAVEN, rmb? so, sad to say, no matter how much you beg, you're still going to that Place of Suffering.

so, I'll leave that thought we you guys=)

this is one good book.

seriously, I cried during a few chapters. and I finished the book in a day.

*sophia's probably surprised I could finish it in a day XP*

this book is an autobiography of Lydia K. Kristanto,

an indonesian chinese who married Rev. Loh Soon Choy.

her story is one, that after reading,

you will realise how fortunate we all are.

how fortunate to live in a modern Malaysia minus wars, poverty and the like.

how fortunate we are {most of us}, to grow up with BOTH parents.

how fortunate that we have God to watch over us.

I promise you this is a really good read.

Makes you wanna root for her as she overcomes difficulty after difficulty in life.

Through her life story, you can see why things happen, and how God's plan always works out.

and we're in the process of buying a new glass cabinet=))))

soon, you'll be able to borrow awesome books like this.

haha, Cf commitees were all forced encouraged to borrow at least 1 book for the holidays, and people like MEI FEN, borrowed 4 NICE BOOKS. XD

anyway, they're all good books, i'm not complaining.

when you see the whole stack, you wonder,

OMG, MS. SIM AND MS. GOH READ ALOTT ALOTT.

and most of the books THICK THICK WAN.
